Dental Mission at The Heart at Play

Last Saturday, THP had its first ever Dental Mission conducted by our special guest, Dr.Rica Roco. Dr. Roco (Ate Rica to the kids), had just come back from completing her studies in London, specializing on preventive care. After delivering a keynote presentation oritenting our parents on proper dental care and understanding their child's behavior, she spent the next hour and a half, checking up on all our wards, providing them with a much appreciated dental assessment.
As a prize for behaving so well, each child received Swish Mouthwash, a timely donation from our org partner the University of the Philippines Chinese Student Association.
We were also joined by gracious youth volunteers from: - Ateneo SPEED - UP Manila Belle - THP Rotaract Club as well as three Fulbright Researchers
